freedom?
People always talk about specific norms that you have to abide by living in a society ; the kind of life that you should live and the way you should act, which means that you are to completely oppress yourself and follow the way of life that has been indulged upon you since your birth.
Once you decide to change your ways, you are viewed as someone ignorant, unreasonable or completely stupid. I certainly want to put emphasis on the mindset that the average person has nowadays which is that although they live in a modern world and there are huge gaps in the place they occupy in society in general, most of them think of the same way; a way which i find disgusting and unworthy.
You all talk about having good manners, growing up without foreign influences which is considered bad at home , getting proper education, marrying, having kids and finally growing old and die... Yet , we talk about freedom.
It is a common reaction to see people regarding someone who is leading a good life and not wanting to marry and having kids as a playboy, to see a homosexual who has a better job than you who is living a much better life than you with his partner immoral, to misjudge someone who views life from another perspective and appreciates his true meaning of freedom and does what he feels like without harming others and himself in the process.
How can the average frustrated person judge others WHO LIVE LIFE when they , themselves ARE LIVING THE SAME FRUSTRATED LIFE that their previous generations have led without wanting to make a change?
You laugh at me because I'm different, I laugh at you because you're all the same. -jonathan davis.
more about norms of society??
